Abstract

Maintaining mental health is very important to avoid mental disorder cause physical pain. In addition, mental disorder cause social pathologies. Therefore, methods are needed to maintain mental health. One of them is pranayama, a breathing technique in practical yoga.

The method used in this paper is the result of thinking with data sources obtained from books and journals, then analyzed and presented in paper form.

Pranayama is a practical yogic technique focusing on breath control. If combined with the yoga savasana pose, it can overcome health disorders, such as stress, depression, anxiety, ADHD and so on, so that mental health is maintained.
